Squires Castle

Squires Castle

Squires Castle. It was built by Feargus Squire, an executive with the Standard Oil Company for use as a gatekeepers house for his estate that was never built.  It is located in the North Chagrin Reservation that iis part of the Cleveland Metroparks. Looking inside, it is only a shell of what it once was. There are no wooden stairs or an upstairs, just a brick structure. It is located in one of the Meroparks.

The Castle is very popular with   photographers. When I took a photography class a Lakeland Community College, the teacher said that if a student really wants to photograph this building it is okay but he has seen this building photographed inside-and-out.  Squires Castle.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Rock  and Roll Hall of Fame

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It is close to Lake Erie and is near Cleveland's football stadium, and the science museum.  I think the only parking is using metered parking on the streets.  I have never visited the facility. I do not know if there is an admission fee.

Detroit-Superior Bridge

The Detroit-Superior Bridge. A popular sight for photographers. It runs over the Cuyahoga River in

Cleveland, Ohio. The two pictures are quite similar except that a draw-bridge is in the first but not the second.
